When:
Eco Farm Day – Feb 22nd
More details:
Join us at Eco Farm Day for a full day of exciting farmer-led programming, a delicious organic lunch, our signature trade show and a variety of networking opportunities with the local organic community.
This year, you’ll hear from experienced farmers across eastern Ontario and western Quebec on exciting topics such as:
integrating organic, regenerative and ecological practices
choosing genetics for grass-fed pasture-based livestock
calculating cost of production per unit
prioritizing farmer well-being and mental health
scaling your farm team with evolving farm needs
& more!
During each workshop block, you’ll be able to choose from a selection of workshops to attend across various streams. All of our workshops are designed to be farmer-led, with our speakers sharing their most valuable lessons learned from their varied on-farm experience!
EFD 2025’s Keynote speaker will be Steve Kenyon of Greener Pastures Ranching in Edmonton, Alberta. In this keynote address, Steve will focus on healing the land through extended grazing techniques, how that has resulted in a successful business and what it took to get there.
LOOKING FOR MORE? Join us for Day 2 with a special full day add-on for farmers that are looking to build upon what they learn on Day 1 with Steve Kenyon, and dive deeper into grazing practices, with a technical focus on cell design for maximizing pasture space and building healthy soils.
Participants will bring their own farm maps and plans to work on customized designs to maximize their own farm productivity, health and operations.
