COG is Canada’s organic hub. For over 45 years, we have been growing the organic movement in Canada. We connect communities across Canada to build a food system guided by organic principles of health, sustainability and fairness. We provide a platform to share knowledge, build community, inform policy makers and eaters alike, and ultimately grow the organic movement in Canada. A donation offers an open-ended way of supporting our activities. At Canadian Organic Growers, we’re helping farmers transition their farms to organic. All the funds we raise go towards supporting transitioning and existing organic farmers across the country.

Donation FAQs
From time to time, donations are sent for manual review by the CanadaHelps Charity & Donor Relations team. If this happens, please be patient. They review transactions Monday – Friday 9:00-5:00 ET and it usually takes less than 24 business hours. There is no need to retry your donation as they will review the first donation and making a 2nd attempt may lead to a duplicate transaction.
Once the transaction has been reviewed, you will receive an email from CanadaHelps. If the transaction has been processed, you will receive your tax receipt and confirmation email. If CanadaHelps were unable to process your donation, you will receive an email with the next steps to follow.
Amounts of $20 or more are eligible to receive a charitable tax receipt (mailed the following February). Donors also receive updates on the most recent developments in the organic sector.
You can call us to make a donation by credit card over the phone or you can mail a cheque or money order to our office.
