You’re invited to a Farm Tour and Potluck at Cicada Seeds in Errington, BC!
Enjoy a tour of Cicada Seeds, a quarter-acre farm operating on two sites. As the owner and operator of Cicada Seeds, Michi Hunter is focused on growing high-quality perennial vegetable seeds using practices that support ecological diversity and minimize soil disturbance.
Michi will share her experience of scaling up her home seed saving practice into a viable seed business on land leased through the B.C. Land Matching Program. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions about farm start-up, seed growing, land sharing, and why it is important to integrate perennial foods into our food system. The evening will wrap up with a potluck dinner, with plenty of time to socialize.
